Grace Ann Elinski is a writer, photographer, and yoga practitioner from Jackson, Mississippi. Her interdisciplinary work explores language, landscape, and everyday life across the American South, often engaging photography, essay, oral history, and documentary practice. Her writing has appeared in Across the Margin, Reckon Review, Cicadian Rhythm, Boudin, and PRODUCT, with work forthcoming in The Writer’s Chronicle. Her photography project After the Word was published in the Oxford American's Eyes on the South series. She is a recipient of the James Patterson Creative Writing Award and an AWP 2026 Student Fellowship. Her photography exhibition Roadside will opens August 2026 at the Mississippi Arts Center. Elinski is a master's candidate in Literature and Creative Writing at Jackson State University, where she serves as President of the Jackson State Writers Alliance and Editor of Thee 1877 Literary & Arts Magazine, and she works in marketing at the University Press of Mississippi.
